EMBODIED Yoga

From the heart, tHROUGH THE BODY

Back Into presence

intention

Through the practice of Yoga as meditative and embodied movement, my invitation is for us to experience presence, compassion and curiosity as we get to know the vast wisdom of our bodies, minds and hearts. My intention is to hold space to what arises in the present moment, so that we may deepen our inner guidance and ability to lovingly witness what is. My approach is invitational, trauma informed and inquiry based, embedded in the principles of Mindfulness and Embodiment.

In these classes, we will explore the vast path and practice of Yoga, in a way that is neither authoritarian nor competitive. We will experience its different gifts as we cultivate a non-judgemental and compassionate presence towards ourselves, each other and our lives. Ever remembering and celebrating our unique inner compass.

I offer Yang and Yin Yoga classes in my studio The Art of Presence (Übersee, Germany). Click here to see the weekly schedule. Below you can learn more about my approach on Yang Yoga and Yin Yoga.
I look forward to sharing space with you.

Yang Yoga

With its roots in Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, these classes have a more yang quality to them: aspects that relate to being more active, the presence of heat, strength and stamina, standing and sitting postures, with flow and meditative movement.

The invitation is, as always, to use the practice to get into our body and its whispers, deeper into the present moment - giving ourselves the permission to fully embody the being that we are. To meet ourselves through both challenge and nurture. Getting to know and experience our bodies, minds and hearts, their vast potentials and safe boundaries. Embracing their change and the impermanence of life with a loving welcoming, ever respecting the natural courses and rhythms of the Earth - and our very own.

Each month we will work on and cultivate a specific theme. If you want to learn about my online classes, you can click on the online yoga page. Feel free to contact me to sign up or for any other inquiries by clicking on the button below.

Myofascial yin yoga

Yin Yoga is known for its connection to traditional Chinese medicine and for its yin qualities: these classes encompass aspects that relate to more receptivity, stillness, softness, gentle and longer holding postures, meditative pauses, and the constant cultivation of safe surrender.

This practice is also known for specifically targeting the fascia - the connective tissue all through our bodies. In these Myofascial Yin Yoga classes, we will also use some targeted gentle movement and massage balls, as well as other props, for a deeper work through the fascia. Not only does this unlock mobility you never knew possible, it can also allow the body to release old energy and emotion. All the while inviting loving awareness and nurturing a safe space.

Each class has a theme and will target specific Chinese meridians and myofascial lines. If you want to learn about my online classes, you can click on the online yoga page. Feel free to contact me to sign up or for any other inquiries by clicking on the button below.
